Cement Truck Collision Leaves Man Injured On Long Island: Police

A Long Island man is in serious condition after he collided with a cement truck, police said.

It happened on Friday, Sept. 15 in Manorville, according to Suffolk County Police.

At approximately 12:30 p.m., 40-year-old Aaron Wolk was driving a 2023 Kawasaki motorcycle on South Street when, at the intersection of Silas Woods Road, he purportedly struck a cement truck.

Wolk, a Medford resident, was taken to a local hospital via helicopter and remains in serious condition.

The 59-year-old driver of the cement truck was not injured.

Police reported that the investigation is ongoing.
